On May 28, 2022, 19-year-old Dylan Rounds vanished while working on his Utah farm. His truck was found with a smashed back window, and his firearms were missing. Search efforts revealed his boots with blood near a dirt mound, and his phone's last location matched the truck. Investigators focused on nearby squatter James Brenner as the case unfolded.

On May 19, 2017, Tampa officers responded to a report of a man claiming he killed two people at a smoke shop. Officer Wallick confronted the suspect, who surrendered after being persuaded to drop his weapon. Later, officers found two deceased males with head trauma at his apartment, later identified as Andrew Oneschuk and Jeremy Himmelman.

On October 23, 2023, around 11:00 PM, the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a neighbor’s son was dead. Deputies arrived and documented the scene via bodycam footage, which was later reviewed as part of the investigation.

On May 5, 2023, a Canton Ohio detective requested a welfare check on Nicole Jones after a 17-year-old, Kaitlyn Coones, was reported missing. Kaitlyn claimed to have killed her boyfriend’s mother, Nicole, and another person. Officers arrived at her boyfriend’s residence with U.S. Marshals, preparing to investigate the allegations.

On September 20, 2020, police in Barron County, Wisconsin, found 23-year-old Garrett Macone unconscious and bleeding on his porch, with a head wound and blood drag marks leading from his home. His mother reported the discovery, noting his troubled relationship with girlfriend Devon, who was still married to Andrew Brunette. Brunette, who had a prior restraining order against Garrett, was contacted by detectives and appeared nervous during an interview.

On June 20, 2020, at 11:48 p.m., in Lafayette, Louisiana, a 911 caller identified as Chance Seneca reported strangling and stabbing a victim inside a home, stating the victim could not be helped. He indicated he would wait outside for officers. The incident prompted a police response.

On September 5, 2018, family members reported Martha Robin Freitag missing after weeks of no contact. Her daughter expressed concerns about her on-again, off-again partner, David Callaghan, due to their contentious relationship and her mental health struggles. Police visited her home multiple times but failed to locate her until September 7, when they spoke with Callaghan via bodycam footage.

On February 9, 2021, officers responded to a welfare check for a missing man, finding no one home and signs of disturbance. A dug hole, tools, and blood spatter led to a search of the home, which was secured as a crime scene. Investigators focused on Nicholas Johnson, the missing couple’s son, with a history of violence. After locating his phone and searching storage units, officers found Johnson in a unit, leading to his arrest.

On April 1st, a black Toyota Camry veered off the road, crashing into a guardrail. The 70-year-old driver, Julia Ann Gregor, suffered a fatal gunshot wound, prompting suspicion of a road rage incident. Witnesses reported a white SUV fleeing the scene.
