Harold Shipman is one of the world's most prolific serial killers. A trusted family doctor, he abused his position of trust and secretly poisoned over 250 of his patients. As the list of victims grew by the day, detectives reveal the widespread resistance they faced as people found it hard to accept that their respected GP could be a murderer.
