Click here to join: https://patreon.com/ThisMuchisTrueCrime?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLink The heartbreaking police bodycam footage of teenager Henry Nowak — arrested, handcuffed, and slowly dying from stab wounds — has shocked Britain. Henry was just 18 years old when he was murdered in Southampton in December last year. The case has raised serious questions about policing, justice, and the actions of those around killer Vicrum Digwa, who was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 21 years. At the centre of this story are two families: the Nowaks, who spoke with dignity and grief after sentencing, and the Digwa family, whose actions after the stabbing became a major part of the case. Digwa’s mother now awaits sentencing after hiding the murder weapon, while questions remain over what was said and done by others close to the killer. This was a fast-developing story, and we have re-recorded parts of the episode to bring you the latest developments and our thoughts. Was this simply a case of poor policing? Did assumptions made at the scene cost Henry vital time? And what happens next in a case that has already sparked fierce debate about justice, race, and accountability? But above all, this is the story of Henry Nowak — an 18-year-old whose life was stolen, and whose family are left grieving a son who was far too young to be forgotten. ![The Horrific Murder of Henry Nowak – Police handcuffed a dying man [True Crime Documentary]](/api/media/file/4bjsyEq4Dqw.jpg)
On the evening of 3rd December 2025 18 year old Henry Nowak left his student accommodation in the city of Southampton in the UK for a night out with friends. He would never return home alive and just 3 hours after this footage was taken he would be stabbed repeatedly by a knife wielding manic called Vickrum Digwa, a complete stranger to Henry. As if Henry’s death was not tragic enough footage was released showing that, in his dying moments, the Police handcuffed him and dragged him along the ground believing him to be the perpetrator not the victim all the whole Henry was repeatedly telling them he couldn’t breath and the officers did nothing. #truecrime #truecrimedocumentary #horror Chapters: 00:00:00 Start 00:00:50 Henry Nowak 00:02:27 Vickrum Digwa 00:08:30 The murder of Henry Nowak 00:11:32 999 call start 00:13:42 999 call end 00:13:55 999 Police bodycam start 00:16:43 999 Police bodycam end 00:20:49 Legal proceedings 00:25:04 Remembering Henry 00:25:16 Statement outside court start 00:33:22 Statement outside court start 00:34:59 Aftermath 00:36:48 Vickrum Digwa: A profile 00:39:31 End Evil among us is a channel which focuses on horrific serious cases from the UK and abroad with a particular interest in lesser known cases and serial murderers from around the world. Nigel Farage has spent all week trying to weaponise the murder of Henry Nowak for his own political gain. In this episode, Andy & Neil react to the shocking policing which saw Henry wrongly arrested as he lay dying, explain how the officers should have responded in that situation, and debunk Farage's claims that 'two-tier' policing is now prevalent in the UK. Neil gives a passionate & personal explanation of why those claims that ethnic minorities are now treated better by police than white people are so wide of the mark, and they discuss whether more unrest is likely to follow Tuesday night's riot in Southampton, which involved the notorious far-right activist, Tommy Robinson. Andy & Neil also analyse whether there is any truth to the idea that national police guidance needs to be reworded, and whether it's time for the law to change to ban people from legally carrying the kirpan, the Sikh ceremonial dagger which was used to kill Henry Nowak. Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley examine the harrowing details and body-cam footage of Henry Nowak’s murder and debate what the tragic case reveals about Britain’s “two-tier” policing system. They also speak to David Spencer, a former chief detective inspector, about the adequacy of the anti-racism training given to officers. Elsewhere, Camilla and Tim unpack the political fallout between Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage over identity politics. ► Subscribe to The Telegraph: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/customer/subscription/store/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_dailytpodcast ► Get the latest headlines: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_dailytpodcast ► Sign up to The Telegraph's free new daily newsletter, From the Editor, bringing you the latest news, features and analysis from the Telegraph newsroom: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/customer/secure/newsletter/from-the-editor/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_dailytpodcast #CamillaTominey, #TimStanley, #HenryNowak, #HenryNowakMurder, #BodyCamFootage, #UKPolicing, #BritishPolicing, #TwoTierPolicing, #PolicingDebate, #LawAndOrder, #CrimeInvestigation, #DavidSpencer, #PoliceTraining, #AntiRacismTraining, #PoliceAccountability, #CriminalJustice, #PublicSafety, #UKPolitics, #KemiBadenoch, #NigelFarage, #IdentityPolitics, #PoliticalFallout, #ConservativeParty, #ReformUK, #BritainNews, #CurrentAffairs, #PoliticalCommentary, #SocialIssues, #PolicingPolicy, #NewsAnalysis
