On 14 August 2011, emergency responders rushed to a residence on the island of Jersey after reports of a horrifying mass killing inside the family home. When police arrived, they discovered multiple victims murdered in a violent rampage carried out over the course of just 15 minutes. Among the dead were Damian Rzeszowski’s wife, two young children, his father-in-law and close family friends who had been present during the attack.
As detectives investigated the massacre, they uncovered evidence of escalating emotional instability, relationship problems and growing paranoia in the days leading up to the killings.
