Rodney Hinton, Jr. is accused of intentionally running his car into a sheriff's deputy directing traffic in Cincinnati, Ohio. The deputy, Larry Henderson, was directing traffic at a college graduation when he was killed late last week. Rodney Hinton, Jr. is charged with aggravated murder in the death of Deputy Larry Henderson in Cincinnati, Ohio. Police say Hinton left a meeting with Cincinnati Police last Friday after viewing body camera footage of an officer shooting and killing his son, Ryan Hinton, and then ran over Henderson who was directing traffic. Benjamin Hawk, a father of two and karaoke enthusiast, was shot in the back of the head while performing at a bar in Buckeye Lake, Ohio — allegedly by 59-year-old Richard Lindgren. Authorities believe jealousy may have been the motive, as Hawk was singing with Lindgren’s ex-wife at the time of the attack. After a multi-state manhunt, Lindgren was arrested in South Carolina. Alyssa Smith believed she would receive a 90-day sentence in jail and probation for the death of her 6-month-old son, Royal Bates. Royal was attacked and killed by a pit bull mix in April 2024. Between July 2014 and August 2015, a small Ohio town was shaken by the deaths of three young children, all from the same family. Each boy, 4-year-old Noah, 3-year-old Eli, and 3-month-old Gavin died months apart under suspicious circumstances. Investigators uncovered a chilling truth: their mother, Brittany Pilkington, admitted to suffocating each child. A high school teacher in Ohio is accused of raping a minor. Former Shelby Middle School teacher Stefanie Kellenbeger was brought in for questioning in 2024 after a former female student of hers made allegations that she'd had a sexual relationship with her. The student had been hired to babysit for Kellenberger's daughter during COVID. Kellenberger is now serving 15 years in prison for the crimes.
