LaQuandra Williams threatened to stab her son, Jahaad Hughes, in February 2024 during an argument at their home outside of Columbus, Ohio. Williams ended up shooting Hughes at close range and claimed she was angry that her son drove her car. Police arrived within minutes and questioned Williams on the scene and in the interrogation room.
