Curtis Wayne Wright became known in American criminal history after participating in the 2015 murder-for-hire of Dr. Teresa Sievers in Bonita Springs, Florida. A longtime friend of Teresa's husband, Mark Sievers, Wright helped plan the killing before recruiting Jimmy Rodgers to assist in carrying out the attack. Wright later pleaded guilty, cooperated with prosecutors, and testified against both Rodgers and Mark Sievers, making him the key witness in one of Florida's most high-profile murder-for-hire cases.

Darren Vickers is a British man convicted of the 1997 murder of eight-year-old Jamie Lavis in Greater Manchester, England. At the time, he worked as a bus driver, a role that placed him in a position of routine contact with the public, including children. The case gained significant attention due to the abuse of that position and the circumstances of the child’s disappearance. Vickers was later arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment.

David Camm became one of the most controversial figures in American criminal justice after being accused of murdering his wife, Kimberly "Kim" Camm, and their two children, Brad and Jill, in Georgetown, Indiana, on September 28, 2000. A former Indiana State Trooper, Camm returned home from a basketball game to discover his family shot to death inside the garage of the family residence. David Parker Ray became one of the most infamous serial offenders in American history after constructing a soundproof torture chamber inside a trailer on his property in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Known as the "Toy-Box Killer," Ray was convicted of kidnapping, torture, and sexual offences against multiple women. Although investigators suspected he murdered numerous victims over several decades, no homicide convictions were ever secured because no bodies were recovered. His crimes remain among the most disturbing criminal investigations in modern American history.

Dillon Alexander Waller is an American man convicted of the 2022 murder of his mother in New Mexico. The crime occurred within a domestic setting and involved attempts to conceal the offence. He was later convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Donald McMillan Jr. murdered 62-year-old Helen Fiona Torbet in the Scottish Highlands in July 1993 after developing an obsession with her during her regular stays at his parents' guesthouse near Inverinate. After killing Torbet, McMillan concealed her body in the grounds of the property and maintained for months that she had left with another man. A lengthy missing-person investigation eventually focused on McMillan, who directed police to the burial site. He was convicted of murder in 1994 and sentenced to life imprisonment, later receiving a 15-year punishment part. McMillan remained imprisoned until his death in 2007.

Gale Watkins is an American woman convicted in connection with the 2013 death of her three-year-old grandson in Florida. As a caregiver, she was responsible for the child’s welfare during the incident. She was later convicted of aggravated manslaughter of a child and sentenced to a lengthy prison term.

Ian Rich became known in Ohio criminal history after carrying out a targeted drive-by shooting on Interstate 77 that killed David Perez and seriously wounded Jacqueline Perez on April 28, 2024. Prosecutors alleged Rich deliberately followed the couple from Newburgh Heights before pulling alongside their vehicle and firing multiple gunshots. He later pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, attempted murder, and firearms offences, receiving a prison sentence of 40 to 46½ years. The case attracted significant attention because of the seemingly unprovoked nature of the attack and subsequent claims regarding Rich's mental health and drug use.
