Mabel Ma Bell Attempted Murder (Survived)

This attack further demonstrated Richard Ramirez’s pattern of targeting elderly victims during nighttime home invasions. The survival of the victim provided additional insight into his methods and behavior. By this stage, the Night Stalker panic was spreading rapidly across Los Angeles.

Ramirez entered the home at night and assaulted Bell. The attack involved physical violence but did not result in death. The survival of the victim was unusual and provided valuable information.

Bell’s account contributed to the growing body of evidence linking multiple attacks. Investigators continued to refine the Night Stalker profile.
