Donald Shea Murder Manson Family

The murder of Donald “Shorty” Shea was carried out by members of the Manson Family shortly after the Tate–LaBianca killings. Shea, a ranch worker, was targeted due to suspicions he had spoken to law enforcement. The killing reflected internal paranoia within the group.

Shea was lured away and brutally murdered by multiple Manson Family members. The attack involved stabbing and blunt force trauma.

The case remained unresolved until later confessions and discoveries linked it to the Manson Family.
