Dolores Davis Murder

The murder of Dolores Davis was the final known BTK killing before a prolonged period of silence. The case reflected a continuation of Rader’s method but also marked the end of his active phase for over a decade. This created uncertainty about whether the killer had stopped or changed.

Rader abducted Davis from her home, killed her, and transported her body to a remote location. The use of a dump site mirrored earlier adaptations.

The case was linked to BTK, but the lack of communication from the killer afterward made progress difficult.
