Following the murders, Chris Watts transported the bodies of his wife and children to a remote oil site known as Cervi 319. This step was part of a calculated effort to conceal the crime and delay discovery. The disposal method reflected both planning and desperation, ultimately becoming a key element in the investigation.
Shanann Watts was buried in a shallow grave near the site. Bella and Celeste Watts were placed inside separate oil tanks, making recovery difficult and highlighting the severity of the crime.
GPS data from Watts’s work truck and company records confirmed his presence at the site. This evidence was critical in linking him directly to the disposal location.
