#truecrime #interrogation #documentary #NoBS In today's No BS Interrogation, we take a look at a case out of O'Fallon, Missouri. This case is a WILD one, that goes beyond what is talked about in this interrogation... WAY beyond! First, she is talking with detectives this day, because she shot a main in what she called self defense. That man's name was Louis Gumpenberger. Gumpenberger was a 33-year-old Missouri man, who had physical and mental disabilities that stemmed from a 2005 car accident. Detectives claimed that Louis was lured to Pam Hupp's residence as part of a much larger, and very bizarre criminal plot linked to another murder from 2011. In December of 2011, Betsy Faria was found stabbed 55 times in her home. Betsy had been diagnosed with breast cancer, which metastasized to her liver and became terminal by late 2011... Just 5 days before her murder, she named Pam Hupp as her sole beneficiary of her $150,000 life insurance policy... Interesting... Detectives initially ignored evidence pointing toward Pam Hupp in the murder... Russ Faria, Betsy's husband was convicted of the murder in 2013, and it was largely due to Pam Hupp's testimony in court. So... Russ Faria's conviction was overturned in 2015 after a retrial revealed that police ignored Pam Hupp's involvement... Meaning, the target was now pointing towards Hupp for the murder of Betsy Faria. Presecutors say Pam Hupp lured Louis Gumpenberger to her home, where she ultimately shot him. This is her police interrogation. (SPOILERS BELOW) In 2019, In the case of Louis Gumpenberger, Pam Hupp entered an Alford Plea, admitting to prosecutors that they had sufficient evidence for a conviction, and she was sentenced to life in prison without parole. In April of 2026, prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty in exchange for Hupp waiving her right to a jury trail, opting instead for a bench trial decided by the judge. Pam Hupp SHOULD stand trial in either 2027 or 2028 for the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria, and is currently serving her time in the Chillicothe Coreectional Center, but was temporarily moved to the Lincoln County jail to facilitate her in-person court appearances... It is documented that she has complained about the conditions at Lincoln... I hope it's worse than she says.
