Michelina Goodwin was convicted of murdering her boyfriend, James Volodomyr Nalborczyk, in their Maryland home, initially lying to detectives and claiming he left in the middle of the night. During a lengthy interrogation, Goodwin’s story unraveled, leading to a confession that she shot Nalborczyk — allegedly accidentally — after a confrontation involving another man, Larry Murphy, who later helped her dismember and hide the body.
