The disturbing true crime story started on November 10, 2019, when police arrived at an Athens' home. They found a real life thriller with 34-year-old Madison County Sheriff’s Office's deputy, Winford “Trey” Adams III having barricaded himself in the home and threatening to shot anyone who tried to enter.
