David Callaghan is being questioned after his long time girlfriend and roommate, 54-year-old Martha Freitag, went missing. He murdered Martha Freitag, then buried her and burned all of her possessions,β said Prosecutor Walsh. βHe deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars.β In July of 2018, Callaghan beat Freitag to death then buried her body in the backyard of the Akron home where she lived.
