David Callaghan is being questioned after his long time girlfriend and roommate, 54-year-old Martha Freitag, went missing. Detectives are wanting to hear his side of the story, and they are not giving up until they get the TRUTH! (SPOILERS BELOW) On March 27, 2019 Callaghan pled guilty to the following charges:  Murder – a special felony  Tampering with Evidence – a felony of the 3rd degree  Abuse of a Corpse – a felony of the 5th degree  Domestic Violence – a misdemeanor of the 1st degree David Callaghan was sentenced to life in prison Quotes from the prosecutor... “David Callaghan inflicted torture and an incredible amount of pain on the Freitag family. He murdered Martha Freitag, then buried her and burned all of her possessions,” said Prosecutor Walsh. “He deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars.” In July of 2018, Callaghan beat Freitag to death then buried her body in the backyard of the Akron home where she lived.
