Kristen was leaving her job at the mall in San Francisco, California on June 23rd, 1997. She was preparing to go to college in just a few short weeks, but her plans would be tragically cut short when she went missing immediately after leaving the mall. About 45 minutes after finishing her shift at work though, her friends mentioned seeing her with an unidentified blonde female on the second floor of the mall. This woman has never been identified, but she’s believed to be the last person to see Kristen alive. Kristen had been considering visiting a local beach that afternoon, but we don’t know for sure that she ever made it to the beach. She also planned on attending a party later that day, but she never showed up. After her disappearance, Kristen’s body was never found - so police aren’t sure if she’s still alive somewhere or if she met with a terrible fate.
