The 38-year-old - whose only son David had been in care for six weeks before her death - had been out with a group of workmates from Park Cake Bakeries in Oldham on the night of her murder. She was last seen leaving a hotel in the town with two men believed to be long-distance lorry drivers, who police suspected were her killers. The programme also probes the case of Lynne Trenholme, from Bury, who was stabbed to death. The 29-year-old came from a respectable family but led a double life as a masseuse and prostitute. One of her customers at Pinky's Massage Parlour in Chester, where she was known as 'Blondie', is believed to have killed her following a struggle, before fleeing from the building.
