This JCS Inspired video contains the bodycam footage of a police officer who was attacked by a man wielding a knife. On July 4, 2022, The Modesto, California, police department received a call from a woman whose son had been off of his medication for three days. She claims he had threatened her with a knife, and she was feeling unsafe. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the man in his home and determined that the best course of action would be to get him to the hospital for treatment.
