Tracy Burke and Karen Comer were shot to death on September 11th, 2007 in front of Tracy's three young children. The children then spent the night alone in the home, too afraid to call for help until the following morning. Police quickly focused on Tracy's husband, Sergeant Brent Burke as the primary suspect. The following years saw multiple mistrials and ultimately led to Brent being court-martialed.
