On September 22nd, 2024, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office in North Fort Myers, Florida, received a call regarding a possible self-harm situation at a residence in the Herons Glen community. While deputies were en route, dispatchers relayed an update — the caller now believed a man at the residence had killed someone and was threatening to harm himself.
