It was a clear burglary, but it appears Kathy put up a fight, and was murdered. Timothy Parlin, who's interrogation is linked above, was the owner of the car that was at the scene during the robbery, but he named Shawn Gant-Benalcazar as his accomplice. Shawn was brought in for questioning, and this is that interrogation. This interrogation was conducted in the late hours of January 9, 2015 into the early morning of January 10th. (SPOILERS BELOW) In November of 2018, Shawn Gant was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. A double murder just over a week after Kathy Blair was also tied to these 2 scoundrels, but Shawn Gant-Benalcazar was never charged due to lack of physical evidence.
