Texas, 2011: Multiple young girls accuse Prakashanand Saraswati, local leader of the cult Barsana Dham, of molestation. His disciples come up with $1 million dollars for his bail. Saraswati flees back to his home country of India. The Hunt is a documentary-style non-fiction program for CNN starring John Walsh, the iconic former host of Americas Most Wanted. The Hunts mission is similar to the original programs: it tells stories of a wide range of criminal investigations in which the suspect (in some cases plainly the perpetrator) is a fugitive at large.
