Star Hobson was a beautiful little girl, pure and innocent, she should have been protected but she would not see her second birthday. On 22nd September 2020 when she was just 16 month old she was beaten to death by Savannah Brockhill a woman who described herself as “the number one psycho” and this happened whilst star’s mother, Frankie Smith, who was the partner of Brockhill, stood by and did nothing to protect her little girl. This horrific crime was the final act in a campaign of abuse which had lasted for months which left Star’s tiny body a mass of bruises and fractured bones. The Court cases revealed the true extent of Smith and Brockhill’s evil including CCTV taken a few days before Star was murdered showing her being punched and slapped around 20 times by Brockhill and being dragged through the streets of Bradford by Smith clearly in pain whilst suffering from a broken leg.
