Debbie Leitch was a vulnerable young woman with down’s syndrome who despite her disability lived life to the fullest, she loved others deeply and she desperately wanted the same in return. Instead of being protected she was neglected and starved to death by her demon of a mother Elaine Clarke and when her body was discovered in her home in the town of Blackpool 29th August 29, 2019 this 24 year old woman weighed less than 4 stone or 56 lbs and was found in a room infested with maggots and covered in her own waste.
