On 30th December 2002 a homeless man was going some bins behind the College Arms pub in Camden in London when he opened up a bag and, instead of finding food, he was confronted with parts of 2 human severed legs. When Police arrived they found 8 more bags containing body parts in the bin with a human torso being found in a wheelie bin 100 yards away wrapped in black plastic. The remains belonged to 2 women. The Police did not have to look far for the perpetrator, a local man called Anthony Hardy who was captured on CCTV dumping the remains and inside his flat they found the torso of one of the murdered women. Anthony John Hardy was an English serial killer who was known as the Camden Ripper for dismembering some of his victims. In November 2003, he was sentenced to three life terms for three murders, but he may have killed up to nine people.
