This is ANOTHER case out of Jacksonville FL, 19 year old Trevon Wiley allegedly shot 19 year old, father of 4, Ziykye “Hootie” Barnhill 8 times in the chest while he was getting his hair cut at the local barber shop... In the process he also shot his own uncle in the leg, who received medical attention for non life threatening injuries. The incident took place on February 16th 2019... Wiley then fled to Arizona where his Aunt lives... Detectives caught up with Wiley and this interrogation took place at the Tempe AZ Police Station on April 1st 2019 by Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Detectives. This is the full interrogation of Trevon Wiley, but first, let us have a moment of silence for the victim in this case. On December 7th 2022, Trevon Wiley was convicted of 1st degree murder, and attempted 2nd degree murder for shooting his uncle, in which he was sentenced to life in prison as well. From what I can tell, he is still in the custody of Duval County and NOT yet with the department of corrections. I am assuming this is pending an appeal, or maybe processing is taking some time.
