Luis would not survive. The intended target, a 31-year-old male, was shot in the foot. There were 4 individuals involved, and at the central point of organizing this attack, 34-year-old Juan Davis. (SPOILERS BELOW) Juan Davis - On February 11, 2025, Juan Davis was found guilty of the following charges: 2 counts of Murder 6 counts of felonious assault 3 counts of attempted murder 1 count of involuntary manslaughter 1 count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises Juan was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole after 49 years. While Juan Davis was not the person who pulled the trigger, he was the one that orchestrated the attack that day. He also drove the vehicle to the scene where the attack occurred. Devonte Parker - This suspect was found guilty on the same day, and of the same charges as Juan Davis and was also sentenced to life with the possibility of parole after 49 years. (Asked for attorney, no interrogation) Devonte Parker claims his innocence to this day. Katherine Treadway - On January 8, 2025, Treadway pleaded guilty to: 1 count of involuntary Manslaughter 2 counts of attempted murder 1 count of felonious assault 1 count of having weapons under disability Katherine was sentenced to 20-25 years in prison Jayden Sorensen - (16 years old at the time of the murder.) On January 9, 2025 Sorensen pleaded guilty to: 1 count of involuntary manslaughter 2 counts of attempted murder 1 count of felonious assault 1 count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle 16 years old at the time of the murder, was sentenced to 11-15 years in prison for his role as being the trigger man in the 2023 death of 3-year-old Luis Diaz in Cleveland.
