This case took place back in January of 2020, when 10 year old Gannon Stauch was reported as a runaway by his step-mother Letecia Stauch. Ultimately, after roughly a month of investigations, Letecia Stauch would be arrested near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. And though Gannon Stauch's body had not yet been found, she is arrested on murder charges. This interrogation was conducted by Special Agent Jonathan Grusing of the FBI on March 2nd 2020. (SPOILERS BELOW) On March 11th, 2020 Letecia Stauch is formally charged with murder, and on March 20th, 2020 Florida authorities announce they they have found the remains of Gannon Stauch... In a suitcase, and thrown off of a bridge in Pace, FL. On May 8th, 2023, after roughly 5 weeks of trial Letecia was found guilty on all counts, including first-degree murder, murder of a child under 12 by a person in a position of trust, tampering with physical evidence, and tampering with a deceased human being.
