She was 52 at the time and had a history of mental illness, so when she went missing, her family had no idea where she may have gone. Before long, they assumed she’d passed away and moved on with their lives. But in 2023, investigators happened to find her in Puerto Rico of all places. According to locals, she was found wandering around the streets of Puerto Rico in 1999. No one knew where she had come from, but she was taken into an adult care facility, later being transferred to a nursing home. Her husband of 20 years was tracked down as well, and he had obviously not seen his wife since she vanished in 92. According to her family, Patricia had formerly been a model and dance instructor, destined for success. But as mental illness crept in, her life fell apart and she eventually vanished. Thankfully, she was found alive and well, but unfortunately, her mental illness is still getting the best of her. This true crime documentary from 2023 will give you chills.
