In this JCS Inspired video, a police officer approaches a vehicle and is shocked to discover a man continue to smoke meth even though he is watching. On September 12, 2019, Officer Ramiro Rivera and Trainee Eric Torres answered a call about two men allegedly trespassing in an apartment. Upon arrival, Rivera noticed a gold Cadillac in the parking lot with two men sitting inside. As he approached the car, the driver raised a glass pipe to his mouth, made eye contact with Rivera, and inhaled. The driver of the vehicle was Jesus Perez, who had been arrested for possession of a controlled substance just three weeks before. That case was dropped when a judge passed a motion to suppress key evidence.
