WATCH: https://youtu.be/TaTGUTzxTVk An Hour To Kill Episode 12 - Summer Inman In this episode of An Hour to Kill, the story of Summer Inman begins not with a stranger, but with someone she had once trusted completely. Summer Cook grew up in Logan, Ohio a tight-knit town of around 7,000 where everybody knows everybody. She met William "Willie" Inman at her church as a teenager, married young, and had three children. Behind the façade of a faith-based family, however, Willie was deeply controlling, isolating Summer from friends and family while his parents particularly his mother Sandra treated the grandchildren as their own and exercised significant influence over the household. After years in a troubled marriage, Summer filed for divorce in June 2010 and sought full custody of the children. The Inmans fought back with false allegations and legal pressure, but a judge rejected their claims. Their options were running out and their desperation was growing. On the evening of March 22, 2011, Summer was finishing her cleaning shift at a local bank in Logan when she texted her boyfriend Adam Peters to say she'd be home within the hour. She never made it. Willie, Bill, and Sandra Inman had been circling the town and were waiting outside. Two women out jogging and a nearby passerby witnessed Summer being forced into the Inmans' vehicle. No one caught the license plate. When Summer failed to come home, Adam found her phone on the ground outside the bank. Her car was still parked where she'd left it. He knew immediately who was responsible. A multi-agency investigation involving local police, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the FBI followed. The Inmans claimed their car had broken down and they'd never reached Logan but they had handed investigators their undoing by voluntarily offering up their GPS device. Forensic analysis proved the car had been moving through the area all evening. CCTV from a car wash and salvage yard the following day, where the Inmans switched the tires, added to the evidence. Summer's personal diary, found by her mother Debra, revealed years of threats and emotional control. Faced with the mounting evidence, Sandra eventually broke and agreed to cooperate. She revealed where Summer's body had been taken to a church near Nelsonville, the same one where she and Bill had first met decades earlier. #KillerCrime #FullFreeMovies #TrueCrime #AnHourToKill #MurderInvestigation #DetectiveWork #CrimeDocumentary Welcome to ‘Killer’ Crime, where we delve into the intriguing world of crime.
