A judge refused to dismiss the murder charges against Fraser Michael Bohm, the driver accused of killing four Pepperdine University students in a high-speed Malibu crash in 2023. Bohm’s new defense team, including Karen Read’s lead attorney Alan Jackson, argued there wasn’t enough evidence for the murder counts and claimed he was fleeing an aggressive road-rage driver. However, prosecutors say he was speeding and solely responsible for the deaths. The case will move toward trial in January. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
