He is among the last people to speak with Johnny Clarke before he was killed. He wanted to share some information that could help police figure the case out. Detectives eventually found quite a bit of evidence including a cigarette butt at the crime scene with his DNA on it. Sam claims he was setup. There were also text messages and even recorded jail conversations that he seemingly talked about the murders… Well… Sam Williams maintains his innocence until this day. She says she was with Sam the whole night the crime was committed. She was eventually charged with lying to police during the investigation, but not implicated in the murders themselves. Johnny and his girlfriend Lisa Straub were brutally murdered that night. She said she heard Johnny say “Bro, what are you doing” and then “Who the hell are you.” Before he said “Tiff, imma have to call you back.” She would not hear from Johnny again.
