Crikey there’s not a lot of love out there for Baroness Mone of Mayfair and her tycoon husband Doug Barrowman. I had to turn off comments as so many were libellous and, of course, the Barrowman’s deny any wrong doing in the case of £122 million pounds of taxpayers money wasted on useless PPE. At the end of the first week of a hearing at the High Court where the government wants its money back, lawyers for the Department of Health revealed that Michelle Mone had not only initiated an approach to gov about supplying PPE but had been ‘active throughout’ the negotiations.
