The real life thriller began on June 3, 2014, when 19-year-old Lea Porter travelled to Westminster, Colorado to visit 23-year-old Christopher Waide. Two days later, Lea’s mother Rene Jackson called police, reporting her daughter missing. Detectives launched an investigation into the shocking true crime story. Investigators conducted full police interviews with former Army soldier Waide several times during the missing persons investigation. He denied knowing where Lea was. After establishing Waide was the last person to see Lea alive, police brought Waide to the station for a full police interrogation. Detectives realized they were dealing with a more twisted true crime story than they ever imagined as Waide tried to use psychic powers to solve the disappearance. Ultimately, the case turned from missing to murder... and police solved the homicide case. They found an unexpected killer who some felt was a psychopath hiding in plain sight who snapped, proving evil lives here.
