At around 3:30 am on November 26, 2017, Officer Luna of the Texarkana Police Department responded to a call about a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival they found a man with 10 stab wounds to the neck, chest, and eye. What police suspected was a simple drug-induced accident spiraled into a homicide. The law enforcement had their eyes on Cameron, the last person to be seen with Jarred.
