She vanished minutes after meeting this man outside of an apartment complex, and she was never seen again. But the weird thing, is that her family never reported her missing. Investigators say that they did look for her, but no one ever put in enough effort to bother finding her. In March of 1995, scavengers in California pulled an old refrigerator out of a drainage ditch. And inside was the bound body of a woman, wrapped in a sleeping bag. An investigator working on the case was optimistic that he would be able to identify the woman, but her name remained unknown for years. But inside the freezer, he found five small cartons of Crystal brand milk, which he discovered were only distributed to Northern California schools and jails - helping pin down the location of where the victim had likely come from. In 2023, a Cold Case Team finally identified the Lady in the Fridge. It was Amanda Lynn Schumann, who had gone missing all those years ago. The only problem with this discovery is that, while Amanda now has her name back, we are still no closer to finding her killer. This true crime documentary from 2023 will give you chills.
