The Christian missionary was convinced he had to go to the island in order to convert the Sentinelese people, and soon, his obsession became reality - but it didn't end anything like he had possibly expected. Whatever crime that occurred on the island still remains a mystery to this very day, and John's fate still isn't truly known.
