When police bring Corey Bowick in for questioning, he seems unusually relaxed for someone accused of a violent kidnapping. According to the victim, a man was forced into the trunk of a car at gunpoint and driven away against his will. During the interrogation, Bowick tries to charm detectives and plays dumb, acting as if there couldn’t possibly be any evidence tying him to the crime. But investigators already know much more than he realizes. Security cameras from a gas station and location data from phones begin dismantling his story piece by piece, revealing that the confident act in the interrogation room may not hold up for long.
