On September 8th 2021 Collin Turner called 911 from his own garage in Gulf Breeze Florida. His wife had locked him inside. He told the dispatcher he was trapped. That she had tried to break his arm. Then a shot. Then his voice — "She just shot me." Then three more shots. Then silence. Collin Turner was 33 years old. A retired Marine. A stay-at-home dad who left the military early so he wouldn't miss a single day of his children growing up. He died on the floor of his garage with his phone still in his hand.
