The real life thriller began in 2023, when Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at an apartment building outside of Pensacola, Florida. When deputies arrived at the scene of the unbelievable true crime case, they found the body of 24-year-old Colby Vinsen lying just outside the open front door to his apartment. He had been shot as he was unloading groceries. Sitting next to Colby’s lifeless body was his unharmed 4-year-old daughter.
