Close to noon on Christmas Eve, 2011, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a murder at a residence located in Spring Hills, Florida. But this report was far from ordinary, as with the initial 911 call, officers had already found the murderer — a 39-year-old woman who immediately admitted that she shot her own husband.
