On January 12, 2022, a county sheriff’s department was called to the scene of a horrific crime. A 16-year-old boy, who was walking down the sidewalk with a group of friends, including a 17-year-old male, was approached by a vehicle that pulled up alongside them. The occupants of the vehicle became involved in a verbal altercation with the 17-year-old male, which escalated into gunfire.
