They discovered her death in her ransacked Fort Worth home. She had been beaten and shot to death. As investigators dug into the relationship, they discovered that this wasn't the first time Holmes had been violent. When evidence pointed to Q'Juan and his brother, Xondadric Holmes having been at Angela's house at the time of her murder, police put out arrest warrants for them. They brought Xondadric in, but found that Q'Juan had left town, fleeing to Florida.
