On June 12, 2023 an elderly couple's home was invaded, they were tied up, held at gunpoint, and robbed. The assailant took jewelry, money and bank cards before fleeing in their car. ALMOST A YEAR LATER, there was finally an arrest! DNA from the victims home and vehicle (that was abandoned) was matched, and both victims were able to positively identify the suspect in a photo lineup. 55-year-old ex-convict Robert Connor. An arrest warrant was issued, and Connor was located and taken into custody. This is his interrogation! (SPOILERS BELOW) Following this interview, Robert Connor was booked into the Marion County Jail on armed robbery, false imprisonment and grand theft charges. In September of 2025, he was found guilty on ALL CHARGES! And in November of 2025, he was handed down a LIFE SENTENCE for armed robbery, 30 years for two counts of false imprisonment, and 10 years for grand theft auto.
