A Florida man said he returned home in August 2022 to find his roommate unresponsive in their front yard. James Edwards Hicks and Terri Jo Williams were roommates in Pensacola, often disagreeing about various living situations. The ongoing feud led the 65-year-old woman to issue an eviction notice to Hicks. Williams’ body was found lying inside a shallow water decoration in the front yard. Hicks claimed she suffered from depression and may have done that herself. Williams’ autopsy, however, led investigators to believe something else happened that day.
