In an extraordinary story of redemption, Ken Marslew not only faced his son's killer, Karl Kramer. In 2009, the courageous father stood outside the gates of Goulburn prison to welcome Kramer and offer him a second chance at life. Ken Marslew lost his son, Michael, in a 1994 robbery-murder at a pizza shop in Jannali, south of Sydney. It took years for Ken to learn to control his anger towards the men responsible for his young boy's senseless death. And in a world-first, he even confronted Kramer inside jail while the convict was serving his 15-year sentence. Ken became a staunch advocate for restorative justice and wanted to extend this to the one man that caused his personal grief. Unfortunately, Karl Kramer found himself back in jail on assault charges seven months after his taste of freedom. *Road to Redemption (2009)* ► Subscribe: http://9Soci.al/chmP50wA97J ► WATCH Full Episodes on 9NOW: https://9now.app.link/uNP4qBkmN6 *MORE VIDEOS like this one* ► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UAhYwKZVRc ► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yXf0Z4cGZ8 ► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMu0cLmzVV0 FOLLOW 60 Minutes Australia ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/60minutes9 ► TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@60minutes9 ► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/60Minutes9 ABOUT 60 Minutes Australia 60 Minutes Australia have been telling the world’s greatest stories for over 40 years.
