In Ocala, Florida, Michael Lamar Woods was linked to three murders: the 2007 shooting of 20-year-old Toni Centracco during a drug burglary, and the 2010 double murder of her ex-boyfriend Marshall Pardee, 23, and his new girlfriend Chyavana Hampton, 20, who were found shot multiple times in their condo. Woods went to trial and was convicted, receiving a life sentence. He also attempted to have a key witness killed from behind bars by soliciting fellow inmates to carry out the hit. On New Year's Day 2025 in Clearcreek Township, Ohio, dance instructor Olivia Clendenin learned that her estranged husband and her boyfriend were at the same party and that both men had discovered her double life. After unsuccessfully trying to persuade her husband to leave, she drove to the residence on Dearth Road and fired eight rounds from a .40 caliber handgun, striking innocent bystander Daniel Johnson, 29, in the abdomen as he sat on the porch. What started as a missed Spirit Airlines flight at the Fort Lauderdale airport quickly spiraled into a chaotic confrontation that ended with passenger Slyvvia Nzeakor in handcuffs. Deputies say the 41-year-old became disruptive after arriving at the wrong gate and missing boarding, while bodycam footage captures her repeatedly insisting she “did nothing illegal” as officers escorted her out and ultimately arrested her for trespassing. After an hours-long meltdown that continued all the way to jail, the felony charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor and the case was eventually closed, much like Spirit Airlines itself.
