The Brutal Murder Of The Chohan Family Real Stories True Crime Documentary (2018)
Mr Chohan had a successful business worth £5m. Kenneth Regan was known as Captain Cash from his drug dealing days, and along with his two henchmen, they hatched a plot to take over the Chohan’s business and use it to front their drug smuggling ring. Mr Chohan, his young wife, her mother, and the couple’s their two baby sons were lured into a trap and brutally murdered, covered up as an innocent but tragic sudden disappearance. The plot was only foiled by a family murder in New Zealand, refusing to believe that they would all vanish, as a result of tax avoidance or a business agreement gone sour. The bodies of the three adults washed up along the coasts of the UK, but the two babies were never found. This documentary, made for Channel 4 strand ‘Dispatches’ explores the heinous crimes and the investigation. Want to watch more full-length Documentaries? A Journey into the Mind of a Killer The Fisherman (Full Documentary) Real Stories (2017)
Retired detective Gordon Davie guides us on a chilling journey into the mind of notorious child murderer James Ryan O'Neill who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of two young boys after arriving in Tasmania in 1975. He is Tasmania's longest-serving prisoner for a single offence. Twenty-seven years later, Davie was curious to know the circumstances that led to a good-looking, intelligent young man spending so long in prison. He also wanted to investigate the links between a number of other possible murders and abductions that raise frightening questions about O'Neill's past activities. Over the course of three years Davie and O'Neill built a relationship aided by their shared love of fishing and hunting. Davie takes O'Neill through the story of his life. It is clear that James O'Neill is no ordinary prisoner. He is softly spoken, eloquent and obviously well educated. This film holds up a torch to a world so dark that most of us can’t even begin to comprehend and poses the question that many of us are reluctant to ask: What does a killer really look like? Knife Epidemic In Britain: When Teens Turn Into Killers (Crime Documentary) (2017)
The press and TV news reports are full of politicians, youth workers, police and journalists pontificating about the epidemic of gun and knife crime on Britain’s streets, but where are the voices of the young people themselves? This film takes the audience onto the streets of London, Manchester and Bradford to find out what the young men who actually carry guns and knives really think. Why do so many youths “tool up” these days? How important are notions like territory, respect and revenge? What kind of weapons are being used on our streets on a daily (or nightly) basis? How easy is it to get hold of guns, knives and other lethal tools? What is the most dangerous age to be on the streets, and once you’ve been drawn in to violence and “carrying”, how can you walk away. What impact do knife amnesties and tougher sentences have? And what solutions do the people at the heart of the problem think might actually make a difference. Looking at Britain’s streets through the eyes of the young people who spend most of their time on those streets, we see an entirely different geography. A world of perceived sleights and coldly assessed threats, a landscape of no-go areas, a storehouse of easily accessible weaponry. At times deeply disturbing, but also containing seeds of real hope, this film is an intimate and iconic portrayal of the modern Britain as seen through the eyes of our teenage urban youth.
