But what if it can now be proven she’s not a villain but a victim, and has been locked up for the last 18 years for nothing? A group of 90 of the world’s most respected scientists say that’s the case. They’re backing some extraordinary work, which has put these murders under the microscope and identified a rare genetic mutation inherited by two of the babies - scientific evidence they say almost certainly caused their deaths. It’s a stunning twist in this tragic story, but is it enough for Kathleen Folbigg to be set free? Subscribe here: http://9Soci.al/chmP50wA97J Full Episodes: https://9now.app.link/uNP4qBkmN6 | Unforgettable and Unforgivable (2021) Not only is it unforgettable and unforgivable, the abduction and murder of James Bulger remains unthinkable. How could two ten-year-old boys snatch a two-year-old toddler away from his mother in a busy shopping centre and savagely torture him to death? Three decades on, it’s a crime that continues to traumatise the world. On a special edition of 60 MINUTES, British detectives who worked on the case tell the definitive inside story of their investigation, examining in forensic detail what happened on that tragic day, and how they tracked down the young murderers, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables. They also analyse audio tapes of the interviews they conducted with the killers and recount the chilling realisation that they were dealing with indescribable evil. As well, and for the first time, James Bulger’s three younger brothers, Michael, Thomas and Leon, speak publicly about the enormous loss their family has endured, and the impact this terrible crime has had on their mother, Denise Fergus. Samurai Killer: The bizarre story of a home invasion gone fatally wrong 60 Minutes Australia (2021)
Subscribe here: http://9Soci.al/chmP50wA97J Full Episodes: https://9now.app.link/uNP4qBkmN6 | The Samurai Killing (2021) As unwelcome as it always is, the act of crime is relatively straightforward to understand. There are villains and there are victims. But on 60 MINUTES, Tara Brown reports on an intriguing case where the roles have been blurred. The intended targets of the offence have become the criminals, while the original instigator of the crime is a casualty. The terrible events unfolded one day two and half years ago when rap artist Jett McKee stormed the home of Blake Davis and Hannah Quinn. He was heavily armed, high on ice, and hellbent on robbing the couple. But in the chaos of the violent attack, Blake Davis managed to get the upper hand, and armed with an ornamental samurai sword he owned, killed Jett McKee. Davis says he had no choice, and that if he hadn’t used the sword, McKee would have killed Hannah. It’s what happened in the aftermath of the killing though that’s even more confounding. Instead of waiting for police, the couple fled the scene and went on the run for three days before handing themselves in. The outcome of this case saw Blake and Hannah charged and convicted of serious crimes, but in their first and only interview, they want Australia to know their side of this complicated and tragic tale. It’s a spectacular stretch of sea and sand, perfect for the tourist brochures. But Wangetti Beach is now better known for evil because it’s the place where Toyah Cordingley was brutally murdered.
